Youth, parents, educators, and all adults who care about making Bainbridge Island a healthier place to learn and grow -- Please join us for the fourth Bainbridge Healthy Youth Summit!
Throughout three summits last year, we heard from Bainbridge Island youth:
This year, we've formed the Bainbridge Island Healthy Youth Alliance to do just that.
During this summit, teens and adults who care about them will explore the standards of success teens feel they are being asked to live up to in our community and shift to exploring stories of personally meaningful success.
The event will showcase video by recent BHS graduate Ben Cowan.
Our facilitators will be Doug Nathan and Maya Nathan. Doug Nathan is a professional facilitator and story wrangler. His daughter, Maya, is a BHS Sophomore.
Drop-in childcare available at Boys and Girls Club (next to Nakata pool) for ages 4 and up from 9:15-12:40.
Event sponsors: Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, Bainbridge Community Foundation, Raising Resilience, Boys and Girls Club of Bainbridge Island and individual donors.
