Overview

From getting foundational information on good nutrition to the role cannabis compound cannabidiol (CBD) might play in your quest for good health, you'll want to attend Finding Health: The Intersection of Disability and Nutrition.  

What to expect

• Saturday, July 28 – Check in begins at 7:15AM. The conference starts at 8AM. For a full agenda, click here. Everything we put in our mouths is, ultimately, part of our nutrition.  Morning training sessions focus on understanding the foundation of good nutrition as well as considerations for making nutrition work for your REAL life, which may include needing dietary modifications and considering supplements. Afternoon Expo includes more learning opportunities and specialized vendors.  You'll have the opportunity for one-on-one time with conference speakers, product vendors, and representatives from state and private agencies who can help you use nutrition, including cannabis supplements, to find your health. – 1:30-5PM. (Note - afternoon time is less structured and designed for flexibility with your schedule.  Format is more meet and greet, come and go as desired/needed.)

• Sunday, July 29 – Check in begins at 7:30AM. The conference starts at 8AM. For a full agenda, click here. Hemp products such as medical cannabis and CBD are talked about a lot as helping people with different life challenges -- post-traumatic stress disorder and epilepsy, for instance.  Morning training sessions focus on understanding what hemp products are and what is known about their effectiveness.  Afternoon Expo includes more learning opportunities and specialized vendors.  You'll have the opportunity for one-on-one time with conference speakers, product vendors, and representatives from state and private agencies who can help you use nutrition, including cannabis supplements, to find your health. – 1:30-5PM.  (Note - afternoon time is less structured and designed for flexibility with your schedule.  Format is more meet and greet, come and go as desired/needed.)

People with disabilities, broadly defined, and the people that help them who are interested in improving their quality of life through a better understanding of nutrition, including the use of supplements such as cannabidiol (CBD).

Registration

Your registration covers the cost of one person attending the conference. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate unpaid attendees or registration the day of the conference.
