Runners must be present to recieve awards. Awards will not be mailed or otherwise delivered after the event.

Sold Out! Due to the overwhelming support this year, we have exhausted our race items. If you would like to come and run for an official time only, we will be accepting up to 40 additional participants for a $20 donation the morning of the race.
The 3rd Annual East Orange County Kiwanis Run For The Kids, presented by Carrier Corporation, will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Blanchard Park near UCF. This year, we are adding a little extra super to the event. Our 5K Super Hero Dash is your first opportunity to stand up and help your community. Need a little extra challenge? We will be running the inaugural 10K as this year! If you are feeling especially adventurous, you can rack up some super human miles by attempting the Distance Dare of back-to-back 5K and 10K! Following the 5K & 10K, there will be a FREE Kids' Fun Run as well as vendors and entertainment! Your participation in this event helps directly benefit service leadership programs in local schools that the Kiwanis of East Orange County sponsors.
What Is Kiwanis of East Orange County?
Kiwanians around the globe have one common goal: To serve the children of the world. Kiwanis advocates this vision every day by providing opportunities to serve for every member of a community through Service Leadership Programs. Through these opportunities, youth and young adults around the world become competent, capable, and compassionate leaders. We sponsor 19 Service Leadership Clubs in East Orange County to make a great impact in our community.
Kiwanis of East Orange County has been the Florida Kiwanis Club of the Year three times, a recognition not met by any other club in the State. This year, we organized the collection of over “Three Tons o’ Tuna” for the Second Harvest Food Bank. You may have seen the article in numerous local publications.
