4th Annual Caregiver & Respite Conference

Easter Seals is proud to announce our 4th Annual Caregiver & Respite Conference! In partnership with the Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities and the Delaware Chapter of the MS Society, this year's theme is "Rise Above the Challenges of Caregiving."  If you are a caregiver for a child with special needs, a spouse with a disability, or an aging relative, come join us for a full day of interactive and informative presentations!

Don't miss our keynote speaker, John Schall, CEO of the Caregiver Action Network speak about the importance of caring for yourself as a caregiver. Adam Samuel of Avenue Construction will provide a presentation about home modifications, including low cost adaptations to help make caregiving eaiser! Deputy Attorney General Lisa Barchi  will speak about common scams and provide tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud. Learn how to plan for a disaster or emergency as a caregiver with the Delaware Emergency Management Agency! Find out more information about respite care and why it's essential for caregivers! You may even qualify for financial assistance to pay for respite through the Delaware Lifespan Respite Care Network!  

There is a registration fee of $15. If you are a family caregiver, this cost includes you and a guest. This conference will be held in our New Castle location but will also be broadcast to our Gerogetown location! See links below to register!
