On May 6th, we are hosting a special education session and invite you to join us for this free webinar.  We'll guide and provide you with best practices for cyber hygiene; and, more importantly, a cyber safe home office and/or home school. The panel will include cybersecurity professionals (who are also moms, dads, teachers, and professionals working remote) from the Center who will lead the discussion and share everyday tips they are using in their own homes which you can also implement immediately following the event. To conclude the session, we will host a live Q&A to answer your specific questions.

HOST and PANELISTS

Dr. Eman El-Sheikh is the director for the Center and a thought leader in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She has published multiple articles and books, including most recently, Computer and Network Security Essentials by Springer Publishing.  Eman is also a seasoned presenter who has delivered more than 100 talks at various industry, academia, and community events and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.

Steven Bazzell served more than 10 years in the United States Air Force and then became a government contractor for Hurlburt Field.  He now serves as System Server Administrator and IT Trainer for the Center. He began his career in technology with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) where he spent time building and servicing computers, installing operating systems and providing critical IT infrastructure.

Dr. Tirthankar Ghosh is a senior faculty member for the Center, who has an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer and Electrical Engineering. Dr. Ghosh is an Anomaly Detection and Threat Intelligence expert and has made it his mission to develop the new cybersecurity talent and expand the capabilities of the workforce in this field.  He has enjoyed much success with both industry and government, while collaborating with the private and public sectors in providing training for their IT and Security teams. Gretchen Clarke has over 15 years of experience in strategy, cloud technology, eLearning and Learning Management Systems (LMS), software development, marketing, project management, and more; Gretchen has enjoyed a front-row seat in the cybersecurity evolution and understands the role education and training plays in that endeavor.She’s launched  nationally recognized training programs. She  holds a B.S. in Organizational Psychology, an M.S. in Management, earned All-American honors as an NCAA athlete, and most importantly, a wife and mother. She’s also a Certified Executive Leadership Coach, sits on various community and economic development boards.
