Roger Durling wrote the cover story on Whitney Brooks Abbott for the Santa Barbara Independent that came out on February 1st.

Whitney is a second generation member of the Oak Group based in Santa Barbara since 1986. She is an artist known for her luscious plein air landscapes and interior scenes of patterned light and color.

The current show is her first solo show in 5 years, and is a celebration of what made her one of the most beloved and highly regarded artists in the region.
