The Tennessee Holocaust Commission, in cooperation with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, presents a one-day professional development workshop that will provide educators with resources and pedagogical approaches for teaching about the Holocaust, including testimony from Tennesseans of that era.

The workshop is open to middle school, high school, and community college educators as well as pre-service educators and administrators. Participants will receive books and resources from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Educators will receive a certificate of participation at the completion of the program.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The session will culminate with a Shabbat service and dinner.

To register or for more information, please contact Danielle Kahane-Kaminsky, executive director of the Tennessee Holocaust Commission at danielle.kahane-kaminsky@vanderbilt.edu or 615.499.0047.
