Incident Response Exercise
We will be conducting tabletop incident response exercises using the Backdoors & Breaches card game. Please feel free to review the video on how to play [linked here]. This will be reviewed again at the workshop.
Modern Active Directory Threats and Defenses
Active Directory can be an effective way of managing permissions and access in Windows server environments. It can also be a weak spot in your network security defenses if misused. In this session, learn about the common pitfalls and best practices for Windows Active Directory.
Splunk Automation with the CCC Technology Center
This session will provide an overview of the next-generation Splunk Core central logging service available for California Community Colleges. We'll cover Splunk Tech Center Automation, Custom Security Dashboards, Apps, Reports, and more.
CIS Critical Security Controls Assessment
The CIS Critical Security Controls Assessment is a tool to help guide college stakeholders to identify the most optimal security assessment solution. The Risk Assessment will provide an overall view of the security posture for the colleges. This information can be used to provide guidance for the college to enhance security. Additionally, NIST 800-171 mapping to CIS Critical Security Controls will be discussed.
