Cooperstown Fall Classic 2016

 In just over a month you could be playing ball on an early Fall day in historic Cooperstown N.Y. on one of America’s most quaint and beautiful fields, Doubleday Field. We promote this event as our annual “Father/Son tournament. We hope to have between 4 and 6 teams in upstate New York this year.

You’ll play doubleheaders every day, so please intend on staying all day Sunday.

For the past 2 tournaments we have had the great pleasure of being able to go to the Hall of Fame as a group after regular hours for an hour all to ourselves. As of this writing we are awaiting to hear if we will have the chance again this year. We don’t anticipate an issue. You’ll get an admission ticket that will be good for the whole weekend. Our hotel of choice the quaint Red Carpet Inn and Suites right on Rte. 28 between downtown Cooperstown and Beaver Valley has about a dozen rooms left. We don’t have a block of rooms, so you must call the hotel directly at 607 544 1000. There are approximately a dozen rooms left. The rates are: Thursday night 70+tax and Fri/Sat 90+tax…..It’s clean comfortable and centrally located.

In addition to playing a majority of the games at Doubleday we will be using the beautiful filed at The Beaver Valley Campground. We will have an early arrival practice on Thursday around 2PM or so……we also hope to have our Home Run hitting contest sometime during the week at BV, which is a lot of fun and helps to raise money for Cleats for Kids the charity we support. 

Registration for this event ends Monday September 5, 2016 at 6 PM. I am leaving for our Japan trip the following week and need all reggies, schedule etc. done before I leave. So please take that date seriously.

The fees for this great trip to upstate New York are:
Single Players   $395
Father and Son  $750
Father and 2 Sons…$995
Team Rate $4500 up to 13 -  $350 additional
