Live Instruction Licensees will learn about the law(s), ethics and best practices that regulate or impact the use of social media and email marketing in a real estate business in Washington with emphasis on WAC 308-124B-210(1), NAR Internet Advertising Policies, NWMLS Rule 192 (Use of Listing Photos), and the FTC CAN-SPAM Act as outlined below. Topics covered include: Introduction to Social Media: An Overview; Domain Names; Website Options; Introduction to SEO; Advertising and the Internet; Email vs Email Marketing; Blogs; Creating a Social Media Plan. Brokers who have an advanced understanding of social media may find the content of this class too basic for their needs. (3 clock hours)
