Autism Legislative Day Thursday, January 13 at 9 a.m.

Please joint the Virginia Autism Project, Autism Speaks and other grassroots parents for our first in a series of Legislative Days on Thursday, January 13 at 9 a.m. at the General Assembly Building (GAB) in Richmond.

We will meet in the East Conference Room on the Third Floor of the
General Assembly Building, 910 Capitol St # 200, Richmond, VA 23219-3400.

When you arrive at the GAB, you will come up the steps inside and go through a security line (they x-ray your bags) then go around to the elevators and come up to the Third Floor East Conference Room.

Before Thursday, call your legislator and make an appointment to see them on Thursday.
Tell them:
1.  you are a constituent and are coming to talk to them about the autism insurance reform bill and
2.  you will be staying for when they convene in session and will be sitting up in the Gallery and would like to be recognized.
Phone List of House of Delegates
Phone List of Senators

We will hear from Senator Howell, patron of the autism insurance reform bill; Angie Bezik, lobbyist with Principle Advantage and have an opportunity for questions about the bill.  You will be given talking-points and someone will go with you to your appointment if you don't want to go alone.
