Payment Cards as a Path to Financial Health

This webinar will share models of high-quality payment programs that go beyond simply getting payments into the hands of recipients, ultimately strengthening household financial security.

Electronic payments save governments the cost of distributing checks while delivering funds to recipients more safely and reliably. But electronic payment methods can do more—electronic government payments can provide lower-cost, more versatile payment tools that support consumers’ financial lives. Above all, they have the potential to help people improve their financial health and capability, via access to more information and greater use of higher-quality, more effective services that can help them understand and plan their financial lives.

Guest presenters:

  • Jeanne Hogarth, Center for Financial Services Innovation
  • Hanns Kuttner, Hudson Institute
  • Arlyn Davich, CEO, PayPerks
  • J.B. Donaldson, Xerox Corp
  • Ron Crane, Treasurer, State of Idaho

Join us to learn about payment cards, how they work, why states use them, and the innovations in payment cards that are good for states and consumers.
