Health Insurance Literacy and Consumer Engagement Webinar 

Health insurance is an area of growing complexity that affects almost everyone. The financial ramifications of accessing, choosing, and using health insurance can be significant for all populations, but especially for vulnerable groups who may be obtaining coverage for the first time.

This webinar will begin with Justin Sydnor, associate professor in the Department of Risk and Insurance at the Wisconsin School of Business, presenting research surrounding behavior and decision-making in sorting and choosing health insurance plans.

Allison Espeseth, Development & Operations Manager at Covering Wisconsin, will then discuss how engagement can be improved through resources and tools for connecting the public with information.
