2016 Dallas Pride Parade Entry Application

Parade applications are online only this year, paper applications will not be accepted.

Welcome to the 33rd edition of the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade!

Parade Rules- Please read these, they really are helpful.

Before continuing the application process, please download the parade rules and read them. The rules have changed and should be read by all participants of the entry, especially the representative. You will be asked to verify that you have read them twice, once at the bottom of this by agreeing and continue to the application and then again as a question on the application form itself. It is important that you keep these for your records.

Payment Options - You have two options, credit or check.

Payment can be made with a credit card at the time the application is submitted. Credit cards are processed via PayPal and you do not have to have a PayPal account or create one to proceed. A separate e-mail containing your credit card receipt will be automatically sent to you after registration is complete. Checks are still accepted. Select check on the application form, finish the registration, and mail check to the Dallas Tavern Guild.

Postmark Information - This is how we determine the parade line-up numbers.

Entries are assigned in order of postmark dates. Applications that are submitted with a credit card payment will be postmarked immediately upon completion of the online registration. Applications that are registered and a check payment is to be mailed will be postmarked with the date of the envelope containing the check.

Festival Information - You can buy extra tickets to the festival.

The Festival in the Park will be fenced in and a general admission fee of $10 per person is required by anyone entering Reverchon Park. Each paid entry will automatically receive five (5) general admission wristbands. If an entry purchases an additional 50-foot of line-up space, it will receive an additional five (5) general admission wristbands. You will also have the option to purchase additional wristbands on the application form.

Mandatory Meeting - We can't stress the word mandatory.

A parade representative from each entry must attend the mandatory parade meeting to be briefed on the parade at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Rose Room located at 3911 Cedar Springs Rd., Dallas, Texas. Entries with no representatives will not be eligible for entry into the parade. Entry applicants that are outside of a 50-mile radius of Dallas do not have to attend. The parade packet will be mailed.

Acceptance of Rules - Just making sure you read the rules.

By clicking on the "Proceed to Application" button below I certify that I am authorized to act as representative for the organization listed on the application and that the organization has read, understands and agrees to abide by the rules of the 2016 Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade. I also confirm that the organization supports the goals of the Parade Committee and the Dallas Tavern Guild as described in its Mission Statement. I understand that failure to follow the Parade rules may result in corrective action of an individual or group, including removal from the parade and prohibition from future participations.
