Who Should Be Trained in the Use of the Resident Assessment Tool?
All direct care staff, facility administrators or owners who are currently conducting resident assessments (or any newly-hired staff) are required to be trained in the use of the Resident Assessment Tool. This course will be led by instructors trained by the Bureau of Health Facilities Administration.
Note: In advance of the class, participants are urged to take part in and/or closely observe a resident assessment at their facility. This will help reinforce what you will learn in the class and perhaps prompt questions.
