Tech Talk: New Data Standards for Street Design
Join the Institute of Transportation Engineers (SF Bay Area Section) and American Planning Association (Northern California Chapter), for March’s lunch meeting panel discussion focused on the intersection of Transportation Data and Street Design.
During this lunchtime meeting, we’re inviting guests who are focused on the intersection of transportation data and street design. They’ll share the latest on a new initiative to create a “common language” around streets.
SharedStreets is a data standard and a platform that serves as a launching pad for public-private collaboration and a clearinghouse for data exchange. This initiative will enable the development of new tools that help transportation planners and engineers analyze and act upon data when designing streets.
