Legal advocates! Join us to learn and share strategies for using tools from the Domestic Violence Fatality Review in your advocacy on behalf of survivors.
We’ll explore:
- Fatality Review findings and recommendations to help you advocate for systems that work better for survivors
- Finding the data you need to promote best practices in the legal system
- Illustrating survivors’ experience through stories from case reviews
- Strategies to deepen understanding of how and why systems fail, and commitment to taking action on creative and practical solutions
- Using Fatality Review to focus attention on barriers facing survivors in marginalized communities
- Engaging your county task force or CCR
- Responding to domestic violence homicides in your community
