Alex Dale Ehrlich, D.D.S. 


Dr. Ehrlich is currently the Chairman of Comprehensive Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry.  He retired from the Navy in 2009 after 38 years of military service.  He graduated from Indiana University Dental School in 1979 and graduated from a GPR Program, Comprehensive Dentistry Residency, and Orofacial Pain Residency at the University of Florida.  He received a Masters Degree in Microbiology from the University of Wyoming, which is the state where he was born and raised.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a Diplomate of the American Board of Comprehensive Dentistry.

Topic - “TMD/Orofacial Pain - What Has Changed in the Last 20-30 Years?”

How has the terminology changed. How do we Evaluate, Diagnose and Manage TMD/Orofacial Pain Patients.

Learning objectives: By the end of the presentation, the attendee will:
1.)  Understanding the epidemiology and etiology of facial pain.
2.)  Establishing a Diagnosis.
3.)  TMD/Orofacial Pain Management.
4.)  Understanding why treatment/management has changed.
