Accreditation Workshop:
STEPS TO SUCCESS

Join us for an informative workshop, which will include the:

  • Concept and overview of accreditation
  • Process of accreditation
  • Steps to the self study report with examples
  • Site visit process--how to prepare for it and what happens during and after the visit
  • Common stumbling blocks to accreditation and how to overcome them

Please download in advance of the workshop, the Initial-Accreditation Self Study Report (ISSR) and the Standards Interpretation Manual, and bring your laptop to the workshop. You can download the ISSR and the Standards Interpretation Manual   HERE

Internet access will not be available in the meeting room so please be sure to download the necessary materials prior to the workshop.

Following the conclusion of the workshop at noon on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, Dr. Hatch and Mr. York will be available for individual 15 minute sessions from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  These special 15 minute sessions will be based on time availability.  A sign-up roster will be available at the beginning of the workshop. 

NOTE:  The Hyatt Regency DFW Airport Hotel is currently sold out and rooms are not available.  Please check other area hotels for room availabilityHotel rooms will be available at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport with a guaranteed hotel room rate of $139/night plus tax for the CoAEMSP workshop, and if you will be driving, the hotel will provide free parking for the workshop.  A special link to the hotel is provided below if you need to make a room reservation.   The room rate will be guaranteed as long as space is available.

Workshop participants are responsible for their hotel reservations and should cancellation be necessary, you must contact the hotel in advance of your anticipated arrival date. Cancellations less than 72 hours in advance may result in a cancellation fee.

The workshop EARLY BIRD registration fee is $300 through December 27, 2011.  Registration beginning December 28, 2011 is $350.  This fee includes the cost of the workshop plus breakfast, lunch and breaks on Day 1, and breakfast and breaks on Day 2.  Registration will close automatically after January 4, 2012; attendees wishing to register after this date should contact the Executive Office at 214.703.8445, ext. 115, to be manually registered on a space available basis.

Payment is requested by credit card via PayPal at the time of registration and will be completed through the CoAEMSP PayPal account.  The registrant does not need a PayPal account, but will log into PayPal as a "Guest" and follow the instructions provided.  Should an institution need to submit payment by check, please mail the check to the CoAEMSP Executive Office for manual processing.  Please note the new CoAEMSP Executive Office address is:

Should the institution require an invoice to process payment for the workshop registration, please contact Lynn at 214.703.8445 ext 115 immediately.  Payment must be received no later than 5 days prior to the workshop in order to complete your reservation. Registrations cancelled after January 4, 2012, will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
