The History of Columbus Transportation: From Streetcars to Interstates
Join us for the 2017 WTS Columbus Spring Luncheon featuring local historian Ed Lentz, Executive Director of the Columbus Landmarks Foundation. Mr. Lentz's presentation "The History of Columbus Transportation: From Streetcars to Interstates" will provide an intriguing look into the history and evolution of transportation throughout Columbus.
Mr. Lentz has been teaching, writing, and exploring the history of Central Ohio over the last fifty years. He teaches from time to time at various local colleges and universities, writes for local newspapers, and is a consultant in history and historic preservation. He has authored several books and has worked on the Emmy Award winning documentary series "Columbus Neighborhoods" produced by WOSU public media.
