Sponsored by Berkeley Programs for Study Abroad, the Study Abroad Fair is UC Berkeley's showcase for study, work, intern, and volunteer abroad opportunities. The annual Study Abroad Fair attracts over 1,500 UC Berkeley students and 70 exhibitors, making it one of the largest events of its kind on the West Coast.

What's New for 2010
Lower Sproul Plaza Location
The Study Abroad Fair will take place in Lower Sproul Plaza while its traditional venue, Pauley Ballroom, undergoes renovations. The event will take place in a spacious tent structure erected for special events during the renovation period. The venue will be equipped with indoor lighting and electricity and located adjacent to Sproul Plaza, the highest student traffic area on campus.
Online Registration
Registration for the 2010 Study Abroad Fair will be via an online registration form, with payment continuing as paper checks.
Assigned Exhibitor Space
Exhibitor table space will be assigned according to the order of registrations and payments received, enabling us to create a locator map for students and to deliver materials shipped in advance to the appropriate tables.
Insurance Requirement
University policy requires all exhibitors to submit evidence of $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Prior to the event, exhibitors must provide a certificate of insurance or purchase single-day event insurance.
Complimentary Wi-fi Access
All exhibitors will receive complimentary wi-fi access to UC Berkeley's AirBears wireless network
New Shipping Vendor for Materials
Exhibitors will have the option to ship materials in advance directly to the venue using a new on-campus vendor (fee applies).
Greater Meal Choices
To provide a wider variety of choice, exhibitors will now purchase their own meals for the Study Abroad Fair. A food court is located adjacent to the venue and a list of nearby eateries and meal options will be provided to exhibitors.
Study Abroad Fair Website
The Study Abroad Fair will have its own website highlighting participating exhibitors with links to each exhibitor's website, along with information for students and exhibitors on how to maximize their fair experience.

IMPORTANT: Registration must be submitted and payment postmarked by the deadline date listed above in order to receive the appropriate rate. To ensure proper identification of your payment, be sure to include organization name as registered on the payment check.
Exhibitor Capacity
The Study Abroad Fair is limited to 80 exhibitors. Table assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis in order of receipt of payment.

Certificate of Insurance
A Certificate of Insurance on file for each exhibitor is now required. Exhibitors must supply Berkeley Programs for Study Abroad a Certificate of Insurance from the agency of your choice with the following information no later than Tuesday, August 31:
- General Liability Insurance with at least $1,000,000 worth of coverage
- Individual or Company name must be listed on the policy as Insured
- The REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA must be listed as “additional insured”
- The certificate must list the INSURER’S name and contact information
- The policy start and end date must be valid and listed on the certificate
- Auto Liability Insurance with at least $1,000,000 worth of coverage–if a representative will be driving on University property
- Proof of WORKER’S COMPENSATION–if a company employee will be working on University property
