Early Response Training (ERT)

In response to weather disasters in the South Bend and Kokomo regions, and in other areas of Indiana and the U.S., there was recent need for United Methodists who are trained and readied to be a Christian presence in the aftermath of disaster. If you enjoy helping others, and don’t mind getting dirty, this ministry might be for you next time disaster strikes.  This team is neither an emergency first response team; nor a recovery, rebuild or repair team.  Roles might include:  tarping roofs, removing debris, and cleaning out flooded homes. Being a listening friend during these times could be the largest role you would play.

Cost:  $60 per person

Payment Method:  Online credit card processing by PayPal - you do not need to have a PayPal account.  Payment by check mailed within 7 days of registration to:  INUMC; Attn: Lisa Timmerman; 301 Pennsylvania Parkway, #300; Indianapolis, IN 46280.  All check payments must be received by Wednesday December 14, 2016.

Registration Deadline:  Wednesday December 14, 2016 at 11:59 pm

Cancellation policy:  cancellations must be received by Wednesday December 14 at 11:59 pm  by email to lisa.timmerman@inumc.org to receive a refund less processing fee; no refunds for cancellations received after this date
