Speaker: Sarena D. Burch, SCANA Corporation senior vice president, fuel procurement and assett management
Sarena Burch joined SCANA in 1991 and is responsible for SCANA’s fuel supply and capacity strategy and she also manages the strategic sourcing and power marketing departments. Ms. Burch was formerly the deputy general counsel and assistant secretary for SCANA Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Ms. Burch is a member of the Energy Bar Association, the South Carolina Women’s Lawyers Association, American Coal Council and Women in Nuclear.
She serves on the board of the Southern Gas Association, ETV Endowment of South Carolina, Richland Library Foundation and United Way of the Midlands. She is the sponsor of SCANA’s Women’s Leadership Group and on the Board of Visitors for Converse College. In 2014 she was honored as a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of SC Mountains to Midlands Council.
A native of West Columbia, S.C., Ms. Burch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Converse College, and a juris doctor at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
