American Society of Quality Dinner Forum

Speaker Topic: "Integrated Management System"

There are several benefits to having an integrated management system (IMS). i.e. integrating QMS, EMS and other applicable Management systems. In the long term, an IMS helps improve efficiency by removing redundancies of different management systems and save audit costs. Several requirements and processes in an organization can benefit from integration. In this presentation, we will discuss opportunities for integration during the early stages of implementation and truly integrate management systems as organizational maturity evolves. Further, we will discuss how requirements like documented information, internal audits, nonconformance management, corrective action could be integrated. We will present challenges and benefits with implementing IMS. A representative from a reputed certification body also plans to join this presentation and provide insights from registrar's perspective.
