American Society of Quality Dinner Forum

Speaker Topic: Predictive Analytics and Quality Applications

The presentation will cover predictive analytics methodology including the API to describe how Big Data is used for machine learning to identify failures in manufacturing by identifying patterns of data that are normal and abnormal.  What are predictive analytics and the myths around machine learning?  There will be use cases that have been successful to solve design, supply chain, and manufacturing issues.

Bruce will show how to build intelligence based on historical trends to identify failures related to safety, regulatory, and environmental effects.  The speaker will go through an application that was developed and utilized to reduce warranty claim exposure and quick reaction to regulatory/ emission and safety issues.

The objective to my presentations is a proactive approach with the proper data structure, use cases and lessons learned.
