The Building a Successful BHAP for First Responder Readiness event aims to develop strategies to provide regional supports for behavioral health needs of first responders and their families in North Central Florida.
Why attend? The views, experiences and expertise of active and former first responders (career and volunteer), first responder family members and first responder agency leaders who set policy and determine health and wellness benefits are critically important to understanding needs, barriers and challenges with mental and wellness programming, and addressing these issues to build a successful BHAP.
With support from First Lady Casey DeSantis and funding provided through the Florida Department of Children and Families, the project goal is to provide regional supports for behavioral health needs of first responders and their families. LSF, as a grantee, is undertaking a strategic planning process to assess and plan for sustainable supports and services for a 20-county region in North Central Florida.
There is no cost to attend. Continental breakfast and boxed lunches will be provided. Registration is required to reserve a seat. Please register by Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.
