Fish Passage in the Upper Herring River
Barbara Brennessel, PhD, FHR Board member and Professor Emerita, Wheaton College will lead a walk to the Sluiceway and to the culverts at Patience Brook and Old King's Highway. Fish passages at each location will be discussed. We will be in the midst of the herring run season so we may see river herring and/or elvers (young eels).
