How to Choose the Right Business Structure for You . . . and the Tax Implications

financial_accounting.jpg

Your business structure affects how much you pay in taxes, your ability to raise money, the paperwork you need to file, and your personal liability.

Choosing the right business structure is an important and often confusing step for many business owners.

  • Sole Proprietorship?
  • Limited Liability Company (LLC)?
  • S-Corp?
  • C-Corp?

Your choice influences everything from day-to-day operations, to taxes, to how much of your personal assets are at risk. You should choose a business structure that gives you the right balance of legal protections and benefits.

We will explain the different entities and the tax implications of each. We will let you know when and how the different entities may be right for you, and the intricacies of each.

What about DBAs? We will talk about those too!
