Kirk Hawkinson is a retired CPA with over 35 years of corporate and municipal experience. He directed American Express’ global organization with over 75 employees to operate a network of over 750,000 ATMs to world class availability and profitability. He also directed several teams to implement initiatives to reengineer the Merchant Processing business at American Express. The result was a significant decrease in processing time and annual expense reduction of over $500 million. After retiring from a full time career, Kirk has spent 15 years as a SCORE Mentor and 10 years as an accounting professor at Scottsdale Community College.
