This retreat gives you the opportunity to take your Zentangle® inspired art to help carve out a CZT career path while sharing your tangles and brainstorm strategies with other CZTs.

Planning for your business is a crucial element for success. Attending CZTs will identify and incorporate the unifying principles necessary to develop a clear vision and help choose the right path and plan for your own CZT business. Discover and explore the tools you need for a successful business.

MARKETING YOURSELF AS A CZT
Create marketing materials while strengthening your vision for a strong business presence.
We'll take the time to tangle artwork with "TangleSignments" specifically geared for reproduction of your own marketing aids used in your business to develop your own brand consistent with the Zentangle - CZT brand.
Pre-Retreat homework is required.

STRATEGIES & TECHNIQUES FOR RETURN BUSINESS

Learn and expand on proven marketing strategies that encourage repeat classes while incorporating
Zentangle and third party product sales. Teaching aids and supply resources will also be covered.
Each of us has our own way of teaching. Which class format and presentation technique is right for you?
Learn how you can engage your students to want more classes and coach your them creatively and confidently.

PURE TANGLE TIME®
This is time we will need to finish up the day's work and get samples completed for selling our
classes to hungry tanglers.

ARTIST TRADING CARD SWAP
Tangle as many ATCS as you wish to swap out with other attendees. Use traditional patterns or show off new technques - a great way to present a new teaching idea to other CZTs.

YouTube DEMO COVERAGE
with Kristy, the Video Editor of Suzanne McNeill's YouTube videos. Kristy will be taping individual demonstrations during the retreat. This is an optional opportunity to promote yourself to mention how viewers can reach YOU for additional classes. Segments should not last more than 10 minutes and will be edited to shorter lengths.

Dinner is on your own. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and you can hop on the

So, there is no need to rent a car, unless you feel like you really want to explore, but there will not be a lot of down time to explore unless you stay an extra day or two.

$110 - includes breaks, lunch, markers, supplies and handouts.
Spell out the day with letters as we explore lettering using various types of markers. Participants
will adorn their pages and impress their students with fancy letters created by basic monoline pens,
calligraphy and brush pens. This class focuses on the correct use of tools and letterform.
Bring a Black Pigma Micron Pen - size 01. This workshop held at Jaycee Park Center for the Arts.

BUSINESS CARDS
Do you need some cards that will make others do a "double take" or WOW! That looks like so much fun reaction? The Business card layout and design service is included with attendance, but if you cannot attend
the retreat, a special rate is available to CZTs at $75 for 500 cards. This price includes full color printing, 14pt. Glossy Cardstock with rounded corners, shipping within the contiguous US and design/typesetting assistance using YOUR artwork.
