If you’ve taken one of Chef Deja Hart’s curry paste workshops in the past, you know how fabulous they are! In this hands on class she will lead us in making Kashmiri Curry Paste: also known as Rogan Josh, this dark, balanced curry paste comes from the beautiful mountainous state of Kashmir. Korma Curry Paste: A family favorite hailing from northern India, this mild paste stars tomato, coconut, fresh coriander and dried spices and Thai Green Curry Paste: This bright curry paste gets it's deliciously hot and aromatic flavor from Thai Green Chilies, Kaffir Lime Leaves and
Lemongrass. We'll taste each curry paste in these dishes that Chef Deja will teach us to make: Kashmiri Marinated Grilled Flank Steak, Korma Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpea Salad, Thai Green Curried Chicken Sandwiches with Cucumber-Yogurt-Cabbage Slaw. We’ll also learn about the unique ingredients that go into each curry paste and make everything from scratch. Everyone will go home with a small jar of each of the 3 curry pastes.
