COOKING CLUB SESSION 13: Cooking Around the World ~ Israel - Wednesday, January 2, 6:00-8:30pm
In this NEW adult cooking club series, led by Chef Deja Hart, we will cook, bake and experiment with ingredients, spices and preparation methods from countries around the world! *Suitable for cooks of all levels. All you need is a passion for food, sharing ideas and a love of cooking. We will enjoy everything we make together, accompanied by wine tastings.
How it works: Sign up for any Cooking Club class that peaks your interest. At your first class you will receive a Newport Cooks Club Card. Each time you take a club class your card will be punched. After 5 classes you will receive a free Newport Cooks Embroidered Apron; and after every 10th class you will get 1 class FREE!
Session 13: Cooking Around the World ~ Israel. Menu: Fattoush (cucumber, tomato, radish and flatbread salad), Mejadra (rice and lentil dish with soft fried onions and a yogurt-cucumber sauce), Freekeh Soup with Meatballs (healthy and delicious winter comfort food!) & Tahini Cookies
