Planning for Autonomous Vehicles & Smart Communities

Interested in how autonomous vehicles will impact our region’s economy, traffic safety, policies, and regional planning activities? Register for the first installment of our Prosperity In Place speaker series on Wednesday, September 12th from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at MSU’s Henry Center for Executive Development. View the agenda here.

Autonomous vehicles are coming, and it’s time to spark the discussion on how our region is preparing for them! This session will explore what autonomous vehicles mean for our region and how we can plan for smarter communities and the future of our mobility. The day will include an update from the State of Michigan on initiatives already in the works, a panel discussion with local planners and leaders in the industry, lunch, networking, and a presentation from our keynote, Mark de la Vergne, the Chief of Mobility Innovation at the City of Detroit.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on September 6, 2018. Space is limited.

Spots are available on a first come, first served basis; space is limited. The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission must be notified of any cancellations or registration transfers within 5 business days before the event.
