Voice Over Fundamentals with Tom Thon 

This course will teach you the basics of voice over work.  We will cover topics including voice over for commercials, documentaries, e-learning, and radio.  We will practice vocal control techniques, breathing, and relating to your audience through the microphone. In this class you will get to produce a rough demo / mock demo that will help you evaluate your skills and prepare you to become a professional voice over artist.

Tom Thon

Tom Thon has had a rich and varied career as a professional actor. He played Doc. Kensington in 'Quarantine', worked with Jack Nicholoson in 'Prizi's Honor', worked with Meryl Streep in 'The Manchurian Candidate',  and worked with Robert Duvall and Bill Murray in 'Get Low'. In addtion to acting for film and television, Tom has had numerous stage roles including having multiple parts in Terence McNally's 'Some Men' at the Actor's Express.  He has worked at the Alliance Theater, Horizon Theater, and Theater in the Square.
