About the Presenter:

Scott Benson, National Technical Manager for RectorSeal

I have spent a 36 year career in the construction industry starting as a remodel designer in the Chicago area. I’ve worked with architects throughout the Midwest and South while at the largest made-to-order wood window and door company in the US. When I moved into the curtainwall industry, I managed 35 drafters who generated our own shop drawings for the fabrication and installation process of curtainwall products. I was also involved in the startup of the solar division where I designed, engineered and estimated the solar array to produce electricity or heat water. Over the last four years I’ve worked for Rectorseal Corporation as a national technical manager educating architects and engineers with new products in the fire stopping industry.
