Career and Cases in Veterinary Medicine Lectures
"Veterinary Oncology (Cancer)"
Dr. Mary Lynn Higginbotham, Assistant Professor, Veterinary Clinical Science, Kansas State University will present.
Dr. Higginbotham specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in dogs and cats. She has experienced the loss of a four-legged family member due to cancer and understands just how challenging a cancer diagnosis can be. She finds fulfillment in teaching students and helping pet owners understand the cancer diagnosis, what treatment options may be available and what the potential prognosis for their pet or patient may be. Helping owners with the treatment of their pet’s cancer and making our pets not only live longer, but most importantly better, is the ultimate goal.
