What You Need to Know
Does your locality need to establish a child abuse multidisciplinary response team per
§15.2-1627.5 of the Code of Virginia?
The Children’s Advocacy Centers of Virginia is partnering with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services to provide this one day event. Presenters are Kathi Roark, Executive Director of the Children's Advocacy Center of Bristol/Washington Co. VA, and Robin Widener, Assistant Professor of Police Science, Virginia Highlands Community College.
In this training participants will:
Target Audience: localities without a formal child abuse MDT are encouraged to apply as a team with at least the following representatives: prosecutor, law enforcement, local department of social services/CPS, and local law enforcement ICAC investigator (if applicable). PIC credits pending.
