A (Modified) Return of Wine Dinners!

Cult Wines 3-Course Wine Dinner with Chef Erin Sealy @ KnB Bistro in La Jolla

Sunday, October 11th, 2020

Reservations times 5:30m and 7:00pm

We're excited to welcome you back to our wine dinner program!

After 7 very long months of closure due to COVID-19, we're ecstatic to announce our return to wine pairing dinners! As it is not yet feasible to go back to our original format, we're hopeful that this new, modified experience, will be well-received! Since we have only indoor seating, we are limited to 25% capacity. This would mean a very small group dinner with tables spread out on different levels, a very different experience from the communal tables and group environment we previously created. So, instead, we'll be offering two seatings and fewer courses. Instead of group discussions on the wine and food pairings, Chef Erin will present to each table. If all goes well with this first dinner, we will be adding more during the weekends! Seating for this event is limited, please register asap, using the link below.

Our next dinner will feature cult wines! Making the list are selections from Orin Swift, Prisoner and Caymus. Each wine has a unique and interesting story and are sure to impress.

Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each selection is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each selection. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food, wine and spirits, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food & educational insights!

*Please note that seating for this event will utilize space in the main bistro area and upstairs in the wine cellar/loft area. The only way to access the loft area is via stairs. Please be sure to note in the special requests section at registration if you require seating in the downstairs/bistro area of the venue.
