Learn the latest research on the importance of closing the gap with vocabulary instruction. Participants will understand how to use direct and indirect instruction methods to teach vocabulary that sticks! The session will include hands-on experiences with the No Fail Vocabulary method, concept mapping, linear arrays, and a variety of strategies and games to make vocabulary instruction fun. Along with Vocabulary, be prepared for Accountability Updates!

There will be a lunch buffet or participants may order from the menu. The registration fee includes lunch. A certificate of 6 hours attendance will be given at the end of the event which may be used for 0.6 CEU credit if your school or districts accepts this documentation.
Registration Fee: $15 ($10 for Undergraduate Students)
Registration Deadline: April 30, 2014
It is not necessary to be a member of NCAEE to attend the conference.
