2016 Bogus Basin Bacchanalia

June 10-12

EVENTS

BBB is our region’s big event of the year with PCA’s only Hillcross, essentially a hillclimb, up nearly two miles of mountain road between the main Bogus Basin parking lot and the Pioneer Lodge.

The BBB Hillcross occurs Saturday on a 2-mile road with eight major corners, and includes 500 feet of vertical rise (view of course). Click here for a video. Car classes are based on the Parade Competition Rules (PCRs). Click here for a summary of classes; contact Bob Rathbone (robert.rathbone@gmail.com or 208.850.5022)  or Rob Inman (rob@boisesbestre.comif you need help classifying your car. Each participant can plan to make four timed runs on the Hillcross course (subject to conditions). The Hillcross is limited to 50 drivers. There is a Golf Tournament on Sunday. The Mystery Event will occur sometime during the weekend; since it's a mystery, that's all you get to know for now.

Have you thought you'd like to drive your car up the Hillcross course just for fun? You can, with a Fun Drive! You will not be timed and not competing for a trophy, just driving up the closed road at your own pace. If you'd like, an experienced driver can accompany you. Plan for two drives up the course. People who have registered for timed runs are not allowed to do Fun Drives.
