Oktoberfast 2021

For 2021, Oktoberfast is back with multiple in-person events over the weekend, culminating with a car show in The Village at Meridian on Sunday (video1 previous event). The weekend starts with the Welcome Dinner on Friday evening; we will also be celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Silver Sage region. On Saturday you can join the morning Coffee and Porsches tour or the Winery Tour.

Welcome Dinner

  • Friday, October 1, 6:00-10:00 pm
  • South of the Border buffet dinner at Big Al's at The Village in Meridian; no host bar available
  • $30 per person

Coffee and Porsches Tour

  • Saturday, October 2; meet at 8:00 am for an 8:30 departure
  • Start and end at Porsche of Boise; enjoy some coffee and pastries before leaving
  • Enjoy a scenic and spirited drive
  • Tour leader is Denis Dunlop
  • No charge for this tour

Winery Tour

  • Saturday, October 2, meet at 9:30 for a 9:45 departure.
  • Start at Porsche of Boise; enjoy some coffee and pastries before leaving.
  • A scenic tour will take the group to the Sunnyslope area, Idaho's original wine country
  • The lunch stop will be at the "2020 Idaho Winery to Watch: Kerry Hill Winery" Included is a glass of wine (or beer) and a box lunch provided by D & D Smoke BBQ.
  • Bring your lawn chairs and “comfort” picnic accessories if you are local and have car space (save room for all that wine you’ll be buying.) Some seating and tables are also available, and they are opening an hour early for our club.
  • After lunch you can hang out at Kerry Hill for the afternoon (they will likely have entertainment) or pick and choose from dozens of wineries to visit. Grab a few friends and depart at your leisure…keeping the groups small after lunch will work best for the wineries. As mentioned, most wineries are not doing tastings, only selling by glass or bottle.
  • Coordinated by Vicki Pentecost
  • $30 per person (limit 50 people)

Oktoberfast Car Show

  • Sunday, October 3, 12:00-4:00 pm; staging starts at 10:30 am.
  • Porsche marque only; limit of 140 cars.
  • Included with entry is a t-shirt, poker walk, and door prize opportunities .
  • After cars are placed, the streets are closed for the duration of the show.
  • Expect thousands of spectators.
  • Porsche of Boise will display a variety of cars.
  • Judging of cars will be a "Casual Show & Shine"; Best of Show will be selected by participants and a judging committee will select winners for a variety of categories.
  • For added interest, the official color of your car will be on your placard so people can appreciate the variations between cars (use the PCA Rennbow website to find the color of your car).
  • Best of Show winner will be featured with next year's promotions.
  • During the show you may enjoy lunch and beverages in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations.
  • Entry fee is $30 per car; additional cars $15, no t-shirt.
