Welcome to the 2015 Business Owners Roundtable.
Join our ongoing Roundtable now for six consecutive sessions as enrollment continues.
The Roundtable, ideally a group of 10-12 small-business CEOs from a range of industries, offers the opportunity to share, learn and network with one’s peers in a respectful and collaborative setting. Its goals are to help its members...
- Grow and prosper from their interaction with a panel of objective peer advisors
- Improve their individual business and leadership skills and savvy
- Develop sustainable and productive business, as well as social, relationships
* Guest speakers and other SCORE counselors with special expertise will
be made available to the Roundtable from time to time.
This new Roundtable operates in an “open enrollment” format, with six 2 ½ hour sessions held every three weeks, on Wednesday mornings, starting at 9:00am, and with all members agreeing to attend a minimum of six sessions. The fee per six sessions is $250. Top officers, Presidents, CEOs, owners, etc., of all types of businesses are welcome: retail, wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, consulting services, professional practices, et al. You must discuss the status of current open places with Jerry Weinstein. Please see prerequisites below.
Importantly, the agenda for each Roundtable session will be set by the membership group, to be determined by the needs and skills of the individual members. Members will have an opportunity to profit from the input of colleagues who may have dealt with the same or similar issues as those with which they are concerned, as well as to share insights, approaches and solutions developed in the course of building their own individual careers and enterprises.
The Roundtable is facilitated by SCORE NYC Counselor Jerry Weinstein, who has led several of these groups over the past few years. Jerry is a seasoned entrepreneur and corporate leader with many years of experience in a variety of businesses and industries. He is currently an owner and investor in several ongoing businesses.
We look forward to having you join us and anticipate learning from you and sharing with you, so that we may all benefit from the accumulated business experience and hard-won expertise of our peers.
The last session of our current Roundtable series is May 27.
The first session of our next series will be Wednesday, June 17th, from 9am to 11:30 pm. Subsequent dates for July and August will be determined by the participants to accommodate summer schedules.
Those who register or who are interested may attend the last session of our current series for introductory purposes.
Prerequisites:
- Pre-qualification is required.
- You must discuss your qualifications and the availability of open space with Jerry Weinstein before enrolling.
- A two-year history of revenue must be demonstrated.
