Want to know how to sell seamlessly? Hear about best practices from two SCORENYC sales experts? Find your ideal customer and initiate a sales conversation that naturally leads to results you want? This webinar may be just what you need.

The format will be a conversation between SCORE NYC mentors Tim Contado and Lee Simonson on what their extensive experience has taught them, including best sales practices. You will have the opportunity to ask them questions about your own sales situations via Q & A.

Other webinars focus on “closing the sale”. This webinar explores how to begin the sales relationship by reaching your target customer and establishing a dialogue with him/her. It discusses establishing a credible sales relationship by matching your service/product with the appropriate target customers/prospects. The session outlines a selling process that stresses active listening as the tool that helps you accurately identify and assess your customer’s needs. That way, “closing the sale” is the natural outcome of your sales conversation.

At the end of the webinar, you will have the knowledge and resources to: 

  • Discuss how to establish a stable, achievable sales process
  • Develop a framework for establishing a robust selling relationship with prospective customers

Tim Contado

Tim Contado is a sales and marketing professional with more than 25 years of integrated marketing and sales experience in Rubbermaid, Little Tikes, Nestle, and a number of startups and private companies. Tim graduated from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy with a BBA in Marketing and he got his MBA from Vanderbilt University in Marketing. Tim has been a SCORE mentor since Sept. 2016.

Lee Simonson

Lee Simonson founded and operated two startup media companies and was President of his sales and marketing consulting firm for 14 years. VP and GM of Kiss FM and WOR AM in NYC for 8 years.  Years prior, Lee was an award winning salesperson and sales manager for radio stations in Washington DC and Chicago, where he was responsible for creating and building whole sales organizations from scratch.
