Your grief for what you’ve lost lifts a mirror
up to where you're bravely working.
Expecting the worst. you look, and instead,
Here's the joyful face you've been wanting to see.

Sometimes we try to avoid grief, thinking it will pull us into an abyss we’ll never escape. Yet by choosing to meet with grief, what we actually discover is empowerment, beauty, and even joy.
Whether you are grieving a personal loss or experiencing sorrow for the world and the planet, your grief can be a portal to transformation. In this workshop we’ll explore grief through sharing our stories, art-making, and the creation of a grief altar. We’ll also spend time in a natural place, where nature’s wounds mirror our own and open us to emotions, healing, and resilience.
