Alaska State Society Cherry Blossom Reception

You are invited to the 2014 Cherry Blossom Reception!  Please join us in congratulating this year's Alaska State Society Cherry Blossom Princess, Chelsea Marlow, and to meet and mingle with other Alaskans at a free event on Capitol Hill.

We will have fresh Alaska Seafood and will have a variety of other Alaska treats on offer. It's going to be a great time, and we hope you'll be able to make it.

Introducing Alaska's 2014 Cherry Blossom Princess: Ms. Chelsea Marlow

 Chelsea Marlow, daughter of Mark and Brenda Marlow, was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Chelsea currently works as Deputy Scheduler in US Senator Begich’s Washington, D.C. Office.  She graduated from Robert Service High School in 2009 and studied political science at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She currently volunteers for the Everybody Wins Children’s Literacy Program and is pursuing a career in public service.
