Farrier Special Event - Mike Wildenstein

Ocean State Equine Associates is pleased to invite you to a special farrier continuing education event.  We are honored to have Michael Wildenstein, APF, CJF, FWCF (Hons) join us for lectures and wet-labs. Mike is retired from teaching podiatry at Cornell vet school in New York and now offers his services as a referral or consulting farrier, working in a hands-on capacity with a horse's current farrier and/or veterinarian for special problems, or to help farriers improve their skills on their home ground with their own tools and their own horses.

Mike is one of three people in the world to have passed the extremely distinguished Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers examination in the United Kingdom with an "Honors" designation. He is one of four farriers in the United States to have passed the Fellowship exam.

Mike's clinics are renowned for the simple fact that he is able to package his love for horses and his understanding of farriery together with his superb teaching skills. He has worked with farriers of all levels and wants to see people help the horses they are working on today, and upgrade their skills or understanding of problems for the benefit of the horses they will work on tomorrow.

This event will be in a casual setting where everyone has an opportunity to interact, if they want to, and where the cases are lined up so attendees have a combination of lectures and real-world applications.  This event is for farriers and veterinarians only.
