Implementing Occlusion into Everyday Dentistry – Jose Luiz Ruiz, DDS 

In this practical course, you will learn how to implement a methodic and incremental approach to diagnosis, understanding the seven signs and symptoms of occlusal disease, and how it impacts the longevity of your restorations. The Occlusal Disease Diagnosis System is a practical “system” to educate, diagnose and treat occlusal disease, including equilibration using the “3 Golden Rules of Occlusion.” It provides a powerful system to educate and motivate patients to manage occlusal disease, leading to excellent treatment acceptance and success.

Jose Luiz Ruiz, DDS

Dr. Ruiz is the Director of the Los Angeles Institute of Clinical Dentistry, Course Director of numerous C.E. Courses at USC, and an Associate Instructor at Dr. Gordon Christensen PCC in Utah. He is the author of the textbook Supra-gingival Minimally Invasive Dentistry; A Healthier Approach, published by Wiley-Blackwell and Edited by Dr. Ray Bertolotti. Dr. Ruiz has also published several research papers and clinical articles on adhesive dentistry, occlusion and esthetic dentistry. He regularly lectures at all major dental meetings.
