2014 Winner of Mexico’s prestigious National Arts Youth Prize
Fernando Peguero, age 28, is a two-time winner of FOFA’s Young Folk Artist Competitions. He is from the tiny town of Santa Maria Atzompa in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. A Zapotec Indian, he comes from a long line of accomplished artists, and is the grandson of Great Master Ceramicist, Teodora Blanco
