Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD): The Basics
This workshop will provide an overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and how the characteristics associated with ASD may impact learning for children with this diagnosis in school, community and home environments. The responsibility of educating children with ASD involves a partnership between schools, families and communities. The better prepared we are to provide quality learning environments with adequate support, the more likely we are to see students reach their individual potential.
