This training is for parents and providers who want to gain a better understanding of an Individualized Education Program (IEP).  This workshop takes participants through each section of the IEP and provides information on what the required content is for each section. We discuss the IEP as a strategic planning document emphasizing how the IEP is developed; that the parent is part of that process and how each section builds upon the next in order to guide instruction for the coming year. Participants will gain an understanding of the CSE/CPSE process in general and the meaning of frequently used terminology in special education.
